  We chose H&R Block this year because of their 50% off promotion they had going on. We worked with Dan at first. He did a lot of small talk. We were with him for 10 minutes before we started doing anything tax related. Right when we actually started on things, another customer came in saying she needed Dan. He said he would only be a few minutes with her. We'd been waiting about 5 minutes when Christina sat down to help us. She seemed to be a more senior tax associate. She was incredibly fast and efficient, but was a little short with us. She completed our taxes in about 25 minutes (before Dan was done helping that other customer.) When we were all done they said they would have normally charged $440 for their services, but since we were doing the 50% off promo we paid only $75. There is no way I would ever pay $440 for 25 minutes of work. Unless they have another promo next year, we wont be going back there again.
