  • My son went here from 3 months to 14 months and only ended because we moved closer to new jobs and home in the Salt Lake area. I miss this place SO much! Nothing we have found since compares and we are already considering changing again after leaving 2 months ago. I hate my son having to go through these changes but I nee him to be safe and in an environment where he can learn - like A to Z provides. Jody, the owner, is amazing. She is so knowledgeable, approachable and very involved with her staff. Her staff has an interest in each child and helping them develop. My son would come home learning new things and at first I thought he was brilliant but soon realized it was because his teachers at A to Z were teaching him these things and taking the time to work with him even as a young baby! He was in two different rooms during his time there and while I had my favorite staff members, both rooms were great, the staff was great, and he loved going there. They also were the only provider in Utah County that had webcams in every room and allowed parents to check in on their kids during the day with those. I know of at least one other that now allows it. It is such a nice feature, as a new mom it was hard to leave my son at first (still isn't easy) but this helped me build a very strong confidence in how they treated my son. I also think just having those up helps keep staff members accountable, knowing they can be watched at any moment - but really even without these Jody runs a great program and keeps a close eye on all her kids and staff so there is great comfort there as well. Reading the review below, I have to say this person must not have checked out any other daycares before this. They all separate by age (and AtoZ goes further and does it based on development, they don't move children up to a new room because they turned a certain age, but rather only when they are ready for the new adventures and structure the next room provides). Also the "kennels" she refers to for the cribs, I have seen in every single day care I have looked at. They are double stacked and slide out. I have been there when the state officials are checking them and they are state approved, this isn't something weird that AtoZ does but rather it leaves more room for the kids to play and learn when they are not sleeping. Honestly, I think it is totally unfair to rate a place you visited and didn't even experience their service. I would highly recommend this provider to anyone! I wish they had more locations, specifically at least one near me in Salt Lake!
